- We use Reticulated foam. This houses the KDF 55 and KDF 85 and is different than most. This is beneficial because if you don't have reticulated foam, the water starts to create a channel down through the filter media; it finds a path of least resistance. By having the reticulated foam, it allows the water to come in, and then get diffused out throughout the foam into the filtration media and doesn’t carve a channel and become very inefficient.

We use, not only KDF 55, but also use KDF 85 (to continue to assist to remove chemicals, breaks them down and neutralize)

We have a pre filter AND post filter. Most home filtration systems don’t have one.
- Pre filter removes sand grit and junk that’s inside the water. 10-20 micron. Large holes to catch big stuff
- Post filter gets whatever is left over as it has gone through the whole system. 1.0-.5 microns.
