The release of hydrogen is going to be faster than the water bottles. According to the Kikuchi et al studies (2006 and 2007) studies, the concentration starts dropping as soon as electrolysis ceases and drops to around 0 within 1-3 hours. This was at a temperature range within 15-35 C (59-95 F)
