Returns/Exchanges
Returns Process for Wholesale Customers
As a wholesaler, your customers should follow your return policy.
For example, if you offer a 30-day return window, the customer would need to request the return within that timeframe and meet your stated conditions. All return requests should be directed to you first — you’ll then communicate with us for the next steps.
If You Approve and Accept the Return
Where should the return be sent?
-
Orders Fulfilled by You (You placed a Bulk Order with Echo):
The product will be returned directly to your store. You’re free to handle the returned item as you see fit. -
Orders Fulfilled by Echo (Website Orders):
If we require the item to be returned (not a "green return"), it will be sent to our Echo warehouse. We will inform you if the item would need to be returned or not. If it does, we will provide you with the return label.
How Refunds Work
Once you’ve approved a return, please reach out to us so we can issue your refund. You’ll then refund your customer directly.
-
For Bulk Orders (Fulfilled by You):
We will credit the returned item(s) on one of your invoices containing that same item. -
For Echo-Fulfilled Orders:
To issue a refund, we’ll need the following information:- Customer's first and last name

Echo Flask™ FAQs
Why Doesn’t the Echo Flask™ Use Glass?
Glass may seem like the ideal material, but due to the pressurization that occurs during the hydrogenation process, it’s not safe. Glass can shatter or even explode under pressure.
The Echo Flask™ can reach up to 55 psi in just 10 minutes, which is why we’ve chosen premium Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) — a strong, safe, and medical-grade alternative.
Why PPSU?
PPSU (Polyphenylsulfone) is the same material used in baby bottles and medical devices due to its safety and durability.
-
BPA-Free: Contains no BPA, BPS, BPF, BPB, or BPC
-
FDA-Approved: Certified for safe use with food and beverages
-
Durable & Trusted: Lightweight, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant
-
Non-Toxic: Resists stains, odors, and discoloration
What’s the Lifespan of the Flask?
The Echo Flask™ uses advanced PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) technology and is built to last over 3,000 hours of hydrogen generation — that’s about 18,000 ten-minute cycles.
If you use it for 3 bottles a day, that’s a potential lifespan of up to 30 years. We also back it with a 5-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
Can I Turn Off Bluetooth?
Yes — the Echo Flask™ only uses Bluetooth when paired with the Echo App.
If the app isn’t connected, Bluetooth remains inactive in the background.

Echo Flask™ Troubleshooting
Sound Issues / Unusual Noise
- Weird noise from generator: It is completely normal to hear a noise while the hydrogen cycle is being run. If you still feel as though this is not a normal sound, please let us know if the outside of the generator has gotten wet
- Sound during a cycle: This is likely just water trapped inside the cap or seal, which can happen if:
- The water is filled to high
- Water enters the cap from submersion or spills
- This does not affect PPM concentration
All you need to do is let the cap sit out and let the water evaporate for a few hours
Next:
1. Ensure the lid is completely perpendicular or horizontal when running a cycle
2. Remove the Gasket in the lid, rinse under warm water to clean, and re-insert it - Pressure release sound is different on cycles: The amount of sound you hear can vary depending on on long each cycle is run, and how much pressure is released during each cycle. If it sounds different from time to time, that’s expected.
- Doesn't make a pressure release sound when opening:
- Ensure the lid is completely perpendicular or horizontal when running a cycle
- Remove the Gasket in the lid, rinse under warm water to clean, and reinsert it
Display Screen Issues
Pixelated screen: Make sure that you are up to date on the latest firmware update for the flask. This can be done through the app
-
Open the Echo Water app.
If prompted, update the app. If you don’t see the prompt, that’s totally fine—just move on to the next step: the firmware update. - Navigate to the Profile section in the app menu.
- Tap “Flasks.”
- Click the three dots next to your device and select “Personalize Flask.”
- If a firmware upgrade is available, tap “Upgrade.”
➡️ Important: Please stay in the app during the upgrade. Navigating away could cause the process to glitch.
Unresponsive Screen: If the display will not wake (black screen)
1. Plug in the flask and attempt to wake the display. This often resolves the issue quickly.
2. If the battery is low, leave the flask plugged in for a short time to regain functionality.
Battery Complaint / Charge doesn't Last
You should be getting 7-10 cycles in one charge.
If you haven't done so already, please update your flask firmware through the app to increase your battery life. Navigate to the profile section, tap flasks, click the 3 dots next to your device and select "personalize flask". If a firmware upgrade is available, tap "upgrade"
Charging Issues
- Defective cable - check and replace the USB-A to USB-C cable if necessary]
- Improper Connection - ensure the Cable is securely connected to both the generator and charging block
- Faulty Outlet - plug the charging block into a different wall outlet
- Loose connection - ensure the cable is firmly connected to the generator and charging block
- Overheating - unplug the device and allow it to cool before resuming charging
Taste/Odor
Hydrogen-enriched water should be fresh and odorless. If you pick up anything funky, it's usually due to one of two reasons:
- If you're new to drinking hydrogen-enriched water, your taste buds might be adjusting as part of a natural detox process. Some individuals experience mild detox symptoms that range from having bad breath to headaches when transitioning to hydrogen water, but this typically subsides within a week or two, depending on how frequently you use it.
- The water source you’re using. The water you use plays a significant role here. Sometimes, certain minerals can sneak in and give your water unique aromas or flavors. Using water with high mineral content may result in a different smell or taste.
Please do the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Try using a different water source to see if you continue to have this issue
2. Run a cleaning cycle. This should be run once a week.
Leaking
When you first start using your Flask, you may notice a few water droplets forming at the bottom near the oxygen port—this is completely normal! During the assembly process, the generator housing membrane is kept soaked at all times. To maintain this, it's placed in a bin of filtered water, which fills the top and bottom cavities of the generator with water. When you begin running cycles, a small amount of this water may be released as a purge.
- Leaks from the Generator (Base): "If water is dripping from the oxygen port near the serial number, this may happen for a few reasons and here are some troubleshooting steps to take:
1. Place the bottle upright to allow trapped water to drain. This can happen if the bottle was jostled, but draining should resolve it.
2. Reminder that running consecutive cycles without releasing pressure can also cause leaks from the base. Fully release the pressure before running more than two 10-minute cycles.
3. Sometimes this may happen if your bottle has been idle or the membrane is a bit dry. Run a few cycles, and it should resolve itself." - Leaks from the Lid or Cap:
- Do not over fill, only fill to the shoulder of the bottle
- Make sure to release the pressure after every cycle
- Remove the Gasket from the lid and give it a quick clean!
Bubble Issue / Hydrogen Production
Did you just receive your device?
Yes
All larger bubbles, No Smaller bubbles: "If your flask arrived dry, this is completely okay. The electrode membrane just needs to be rehydrated. To accelerate the bubble production
1. Soak in boiling water for 2 hours (best would be overnight)
2. Run a cleaning cycle after soaking, empty and rinse
3. Run 3-6 hydrogenation cycles with filtered water
You should start to see an increase in the amount of bubbles, but it can take up to a week.
Mix of larger & Smaller bubbles: The small fine bubbles are hydrogen bubbles and are meant to be small. If you have some larger bubbles but still have the small bubbles, there is no need to worry - hydrogen is being produced. large air bubbles are normal and a byproduct of the process.
