What is Product Protection?
Product Protection is designed to enhance the coverage for your item, complementing the manufacturer’s warranty to provide even greater peace of mind.
What Does It Cover?
- Accidental Damage: Includes coverage for breaks and drops.
- 100% Repair or Replacement: Full coverage for the duration of your selected plan (2, 3, or 4 years).
Manufacturer Warranty vs. Product Protection
- The manufacturer warranty (5 or 10 years, prorated) covers defects in manufacturing and workmanship but excludes accidental damage. Over time, the manufacturer warranty may only cover a portion of repair or replacement costs, leaving the customer responsible for the balance.
- Product Protection provides 100% coverage for repair or replacement during the selected plan duration and includes accidental damage, which the manufacturer's warranty does not cover.

Where Can I Purchase Product Protection?
- Availability: Product Protection is currently available for select items.

How to Add It: If available for a product, the protection plan options will appear below the “Add to Cart” button. You can choose from available plans or decline coverage.

Cart Options: You can also add or remove Product Protection from your cart.
- The total price will be updated to reflect the addition or removal, and the selected product will show the “Echo Water Protection Plan” beneath it.
How Much Does Product Protection Cost?
- Variable Pricing: The cost of Product Protection varies based on the item's value. A higher-value product will have a higher-priced protection plan, as it is calculated as a percentage of the product’s total value.
What if I already placed my order without adding the Protection Plan?
- You have the ability to add the protection plan after an order is placed if you go through the process of registering your product. We do not typically need DTC customers to register their product, but this is one way that you are able to add it and attach it to the product you ordered after the order was placed.
