No need to worry—let’s get your flask building pressure again with these easy steps:
-
Check the Lid Alignment
- Ensure the lid is secured properly with the logo positioned completely perpendicular or horizontally.
- If the lid isn’t aligned correctly, pressure will not build during the cycle, and it will not release properly.
Here's a quick demonstration on how to remove the lid (Time 2:32), take out the gasket/seal (Time 0:39), properly reinsert it (Time 1:04), and then how to put the lid back on (Time 2:18).
-
Inspect the Gasket
- Carefully remove the gasket from the lid. Sometimes, the gasket can stick together, which stops pressure from building.
- Clean the gasket thoroughly to ensure it’s free from debris and not stuck before reinserting it.
- When putting it back into the lid, be sure to insert it with the indented side facing in.
-
Run and Test
- Start a cycle and hold down the pressure release button for 30 seconds. If needed, repeat this step a few times.
- This process often helps the gasket lock and seal correctly, allowing your flask to build and release pressure as intended.
-
Still Having Trouble?
- If you find you have to continuously hold down the pressure release for it to work, that's no problem! Let us know, and we’ll be happy to send you a new lid.
