Bottle Cleaning

    • Fill the flask 1/3 full with white vinegar and 2/3 full with warm, filtered water.
  2. Run the Cleaning Cycle:

    • Use the Cleaning Cycle button in the Settings menu to start the cycle.
  3. Rinse Thoroughly:

    • Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the flask with warm, filtered water to remove any residue.

Tip: Clean your flask weekly to prevent mineral buildup on the hydrogen generator.

Bottle and Cap Care

  • Hand Wash Only: Use warm water and a non-abrasive dish detergent. Avoid abrasive cloths or sponges to prevent scratches.
  • Cap Cleaning:
    • Gently clean under the gasket, cap threads, and crevices using a cap brush or Q-tip.
    • Use a non-sharp tool to remove the gasket for thorough cleaning carefully.
  • Protect the Pressure Release Valve: Avoid submerging the cap, as water may seep through the pressure release valve.

Here's a quick demonstration on how to remove the lid (Time 2:32), take out the gasket/seal (Time 0:39), properly reinsert it (Time 1:04), and then how to put the lid back on (Time 2:18).

Generator Care

  • No Soap or Detergent: Avoid using soapy water or detergent, as this may damage the hydrogen generator.
  • Keep Components Dry: Ensure the generator’s electrical components and charging port remain dry.

🚫 Important Notes

  • Never Use a Dishwasher: Placing Echo products in the dishwasher will cause damage that is not covered under warranty.
