Regular cleaning and descaling ensure optimal performance. By following these steps, you maintain water quality and extend the life of your Echo Go+ bottle.
Dry Generator or Decreased Performance
Reviving the Generator in the Echo Go Bottle:
If your generator has dried out or if your bottle gets to a point where you feel like it isn't performing as well as it has (fewer or smaller bubbles than normal during the hydrogenization process etc.) this may mean that your generator needs a little "shock".
Shocking the Generator:
- Place 1 cup of the filtered water in a ceramic or glass microwave-safe container and microwave for approximately 2 minutes.
- Using a hot pad to handle the heater container, carefully pour the heated water (it will be HOT) into your device and fill to the fill line.
- Run a 10-minute cycle with the heated water.
- Once complete, discard the heated water and replace it with fresh filtered water.
- Run another 3-10 minute hydrogenation cycle. You should notice an increase in fine bubbles and overall performance refresh.
Please keep in mind because the hotter water can be a little harder on the membranes in your bottle it is not something you will want to do as regular maintenance.
By following these guidelines and maintenance procedures, you can ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Echo Go Bottle.
