How to Replace External Filters on Discontinued Products (Echo 7, Echo Retro, Echo 9, Echo 9 Ultra)

Replacing the External Filters:

1. Remove the plugs from the external filter by pushing down on the locking ring and pull the plug out.
2. Turn off the main source of water.
3. Remove the old filter from the water line by pushing down on the locking rings and pulling out the water line from both sides of the filter.
4. Look for the flow arrow on the external filter and make sure the arrows face towards the machine.
5. Push the main water line into each end of the external filter.
6. Turn the main source water back on.
7. Observe for any leaks.
