2025 Echo UV System
The Echo ultraviolet disinfection system is not only a high quality product but also peace of mind. Protecting your water supply with a UV system gives you reassurance that your family will have access to safe drinking water throughout your entire home with no chance of microbiological contamination. This is chemical free process which is simple in its concept and effective in its abilities to inactivate microorganisms present in the water supply. Simple maintenance, continuous disinfection and ultimately safe water, Echo makes it that easy.
As the owner (“Owner,” you), your new Echo UV System is covered by the industry leading 10-year warranty (“Warranty”). If your Echo Whole Home Filter has a defect while covered under this Warranty, Echo Technologies LLC (“Echo,” we, us) will implement the remedies outlined in the warranty according to the terms of this warranty.
This limited warranty provides you, as the original purchaser, specific legal rights. You may have additional rights, depending on the state in which you live and where you purchased the product.
Please contact Echo Technologies directly for all questions and issues related to this limited warranty. Do not contact the retail store, dealer, or reseller where you purchased this product. Any potential issues, questions, or requests directed to retail stores, dealers, resellers, or other parties are not covered by the limited warranty. They are not authorized to take any action under this limited warranty, and we are not responsible for any delays or related consequences due to the communications directed to any party other than Echo Technologies.

UV SYSTEMS
Echo Water offers a Ten (10) Year Limited Warranty on stainless steel UV reactors, effective from the original date of purchase or installation (proper documentation required for verification). -
ELECTRONICS
A Three (3) Year Limited Warranty is provided on ballasts and controllers, effective from the original date of purchase or installation (proper documentation required for verification). -
UV LAMPS, UV SENSORS & QUARTZ SLEEVES
Echo Water provides a One (1) Year Limited Warranty on all ultraviolet lamps, UV sensors, and quartz sleeves, effective from the original date of purchase or installation (proper documentation required for verification).
Echo Water warrants that it will repair, replace, or refund, at Echo Water’s sole discretion, any UV system or component found to be defective in materials or workmanship within the specified warranty period, subject to the Limitations of Warranty outlined below.
Echo Water’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the product, at our option, without charge, F.O.B. Echo Water’s factory or authorized service center. This warranty does not cover costs related to removal, installation, transportation, or any incidental expenses associated with a warranty claim.
For products not manufactured by Echo Water but sold under our brand, warranty coverage is provided by the original manufacturer, not Echo Water.
This warranty does not apply to products that have been damaged or worn due to abnormal operating conditions, accident, abuse, misuse, unauthorized alterations or repairs, or improper installation not in accordance with Echo Water’s printed installation and operating instructions.
Warranty Exceptions
This warranty does not apply to any of the following:

Water quality parameters that fall outside of the following acceptable ranges:

Hardness > 120 mg/L (7 gpg)

Iron > 0.3 mg/L (ppm)
-
Manganese > 0.05 mg/L (ppm)
-
Tannins > 0.1 mg/L (ppm)
-
Turbidity > 1 NTU
-
Transmittance (UVT) < 75%
-
-
Any product that has been incorrectly installed or not in accordance with the technical installation manual.

Any product that has been modified in any way without approval from Echo Water.
-
Any product with a serial number that has been altered, defaced, or removed.
-
Damage caused by the use of incompatible, unsuitable, or unauthorized parts not approved by Echo Water (e.g., non-original lamps or quartz sleeves).

Damage occurring during shipment.
-
Evidence of water damage inside ballast housing or controllers.
-
Installation of the product outdoors where it is exposed to the elements (e.g., rain).
-
Installation of the product in freezing temperatures.
-
Use of the product in conditions that exceed Echo Water’s stated specifications.
Your Remedies
If the equipment is deemed defective by Echo Technologies during the time you, as the original owner, continue to own the equipment. we will be responsible, in our sole discretion, for either repairing the equipment or providing new or refurbished replacement product or the equivalent credit amount (Warranty Credit) to you equal to a prorated percentage of your original purchase price (less any taxes, handling, transportation, or other fees). Any credit amounts given must be applied exclusively to the purchase of a new product from us, according to the following schedule:
During the first 1 years or original ownership by you, the warranty Credit shall be 100% of the original purchase price (less any taxes, handling, transportation, or other fees).
During year 2 of original ownership by you, the warranty credit shall be 75% and decrease 10% for each additional year through year 10.

Repair Cost Schedule
At our discretion we may choose to repair the device rather than or prior to issuing a replacement or a credit. Repairs are billed at $125 per hour plus parts and shipping. These costs will be Prorated based on the warranty schedule below.
During the first 1 years or original ownership by you, the Warranty Credit shall be 100% of the original purchase price (less any taxes, handling, transportation, or other fees).
During year 2 of original ownership by you, the warranty credit shall be 75% and decrease 10% for each additional year through year 10.

Additional Conditions
For this limited warranty to be valid, you must:
- Purchase the machine from an authorized dealer.
- Be the original consumer or purchaser. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer possession of the equipment.
- Provide proof of original purchase via copy of original store receipt reflecting proof of purchase date, place of purchase, and purchase price.
- Provide proof of installation by a licensed Plumber
Please note:
- Customer service and Technical Support will go through troubleshooting steps prior to sending out a full replacement unit.
- Only one replacement is permitted per item. If a replacement has already been received under warranty, no further replacements will be provided.
ECHO WATER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM INSTALLATION, USE, OR ANY OTHER CAUSES. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, BEYOND THOSE WARRANTIES DESCRIBED OR REFERRED TO ABOVE.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY MADE BY ECHO WATER WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT AND IS GIVEN IN PLACE OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY AND ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES NOT SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH HEREIN ARE WAIVED AND DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
ECHO WATER'S LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS LIMITED SOLELY TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH ABOVE. IF ANY PROVISION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS FOUND TO BE INVALID OR UNENFORCEABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE REMAINING PROVISIONS SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT. SUCH INVALID OR UNENFORCEABLE PROVISION SHALL BE INTERPRETED IN A MANNER THAT MAKES IT VALID AND ENFORCEABLE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
