Product Availability, Flask Builds & Preorder Updates

We know how important it is to understand when you can expect your Echo product to ship. Below, you'll find the latest availability updates, estimated shipping timelines, and information about how our Echo Flask Build system works.

These timelines are estimates and may change as production and fulfillment progress. We'll continue to keep this information updated as we have new details to share.

Last Updated: October 12, 2026

Echo Flask Builds

The Echo Flask is manufactured in scheduled production runs rather than a continuous supply. To provide greater visibility into availability and shipping timelines, we've introduced Echo Flask Builds, allowing you to reserve your place in an upcoming production run with an estimated shipping date before placing your order.

Current Build Availability

Build Estimated Shipping Availability
October Build Sold out No longer available
November Build October 30, 2026 Order your Flask
December Build December 1, 2026 Ordering not yet open

Please note: The November Build is currently available to order. Once all available spots in the November Build have been filled, ordering will open for the December Build.

What Is an Echo Flask "Build"?

Each Echo Flask is carefully assembled, and its hydrogen generator is tested to verify hydrogen output before the unit is packed and shipped. Our scheduled production runs allow us to maintain quality standards while providing clearer expectations around product availability.

How the Echo Flask Build System Works

1. Place your order to secure your spot.

When you purchase an Echo Flask, your order is automatically assigned to the next available Build. You don't need to select a Build or join a separate reservation list.

2. Your order is added to the fulfillment queue.

Each Build has a limited number of Flasks available. Orders are fulfilled in the order they're received, so placing your order earlier helps secure an earlier place in that Build's shipping queue. Once a Build sells out, new orders are assigned to the next available Build.

3. Payment is collected at checkout.

The Echo Flask is $299.99, and payment is collected when you place your order. Promotional discount codes cannot be applied to Echo Flask purchases placed through the Build system.

4. Your Flask ships according to its assigned Build.

Each Build has its own estimated shipping date. Once your order ships, you'll automatically receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package's progress.

Important: The estimated shipping date refers to when your Flask is expected to ship, not when it will arrive at your doorstep. Delivery time will depend on the shipping method and destination.

Preorder Updates

We're continuing to develop and refine upcoming products to ensure they meet our quality and performance expectations before entering production. As Paul shared during our August webinar, both the Echo Forty and Echo One have experienced additional development and production delays. We understand that waiting longer than originally expected is frustrating, and we want to be transparent about what's happening and why.

Below are the current estimated timelines for our preorder products.

Product Estimated Availability
Echo Forty Q1 2027
Echo One Spring 2027

Echo Forty

Current estimated timeline: Q1 2027

Our priority is to deliver a product that meets our performance, quality, and reliability standards rather than rush it to market before it's ready.

Additional development time is being used to refine key areas, including:

  • Hydrogen performance relative to the unit's capacity
  • Sealing and long-term durability
  • Manufacturing quality
  • Ease of cleaning
  • Temperature retention
  • Smart technology
  • Overall product reliability

We recognize that waiting until 2027 is a significant extension of the original timeline, and we appreciate your patience as we work to deliver a product we're proud to put in your hands.

Echo One

Current estimated timeline: Spring 2027

We heard consistent feedback from customers who wanted the Echo One to fit comfortably beneath a standard kitchen sink. In response, we made the decision to redesign the system with a substantially smaller footprint while preserving its intended performance.

This required more than changing the exterior dimensions. Our team also needed to re-engineer and optimize the internal components and system layout to accommodate the more compact design.

We've made substantial progress, and the core technologies—including the hydrogen generator, UV purification system, and pump assembly—have been finalized. The remaining development work includes tooling, testing, and validation of the redesigned system before production can begin.

While this redesign has extended the timeline, we're committed to delivering a system that better meets our customers' needs without compromising the product's intended functionality.
