For the best results, we recommend enjoying your hydrogen water within the first 2 hours. If you need to store it or transfer it to another container, here’s how the hydrogen levels hold up depending on the container and usage:
-
Open Glass: If you pour the hydrogenated water into an open, unsealed container, the hydrogen will stick around for about 2 hours—not too shabby!
-
Water Bottle: A sealed container, like an insulated water bottle that you periodically open to drink from, will maintain the hydrogen for up to 3-5 hours, with the highest concentration within the first 2 hours.
-
Sealed Container: If you store your hydrogenated water in a completely sealed and airtight container that’s never opened, the hydrogen concentration will decrease by about 0.1 ppm per day. This allows for up to 2 weeks of use, depending on the starting ppm.
