While many bottles on the market use standard electrolysis to create Hydrogen Water, Echo steps it up a notch. Our Echo products use a Proton Exchange Membrane that is very different than typical electrolysis. Our design includes a special port within the design that waves goodbye to unwanted gases like O2, O3, and CL2. Other bottles might not tackle these, and leaving them in can create radicals (aka hydroxyls) that are not so friendly to your body. So, when you choose Echo, you’re choosing water that’s not just hydrating but also healthier!

Below is an explanation of the whole process:

  1. Electrolysis (view article to help understand this process) is accruing in the image above. This is located in an isolated location separate from the filtered water.
  2. This electrolysis process is occurring through a chemical process that uses an electric current to separate the H2O into its individual elements
  3. It involved the movement of ions in an electrolyte solution, where positive hydrogen ions are attracted to the negative electrode (cathode) and negative Oxygen ions are attracted to the positive electrode (anode). This produces Hydrogen Gas
  4. The image below shows the hydrogen gas being infused into the filtered water which then mix and create Hydrogen Water. The unwanted gases like O2, O3, and CL2 exit through the special port located at the bottom of the bottle.
