Q: Can I install the Echo H2 Machine on the counter but connect it to the waterline under my sink instead of the faucet?
A: Yes, you can! However, if you purchased the above-counter installation setup, you’ll need to purchase an additional fitting to connect directly to the waterline:

3/8" x 3/8" x 1/4"

This T-valve is not included in the above-counter setup.
Echo Water does not sell this part individually—it is only included in the under-counter setup that comes with the Echo H2 Faucet.

Usage & Operation
Initial Operation
Follow these steps to begin using your Echo H2 Machine for the first time:
1. Power On the Machine

Plug the Echo H2 Machine into a surge protector.

Locate the master power switch on the back of the machine.

Flip the switch to the ON position.
2. Activate Water Flow
-
Turn the ON/OFF knob on the front of the machine to the ON position.
3. What to Expect

A voice announcement will indicate the type of water currently being dispensed.

The Filter Life Indicator will automatically begin tracking water usage.
-
It will display the remaining filter life based on the volume of water used.

Hydrogen Water Option

Turn on the machine

Rotate the ON/OFF knob to the ON position.

The large round Hydrogen button (H2) should illuminate.

If the Hydrogen button is not illuminated:

Press the Hydrogen (H2) button manually to start hydrogen water production.

Confirmation:

You will hear a voice message indicating that hydrogen water is being dispensed.

To Dispense Hydrogen Water:

Simply press the Hydrogen Water Button (H2) when you're ready to use the water.
Filtered Water Option
To dispense non-hydrogenated, filtered water:

Turn on the machine

Rotate the ON/OFF knob to the ON position.

Select Filtered Water Mode

Press the Filtered Water button.

The Hydrogen (H2) button will turn off (no longer illuminated).

A voice message will confirm with: “Filtered water”.

Hydrogen is not produced in this mode.

💡 Tip: You can press the Filtered Water button at any time—even while hydrogen water is being dispensed—to switch to filtered water mode.
How To Shut Off Water Flow
To stop the machine:

Rotate the ON/OFF knob to the OFF position.

The LED display will turn off.

The machine will enter standby mode.
Settings
The Setting Function allows you to adjust the language and volume of your Echo H2 Machine.

Genuine TAG Filter
Your Echo H2 Machine uses a Genuine TAG Filter, which ensures high-quality filtration and system performance.
⚠ Note: This filter does not have a reset function.

When the filter needs to be replaced:

How to Replace the Filter
When it’s time to replace the filter, your Echo H2 Machine will notify you:

Power Off and Shut Off the Water

Turn off the master power switch located on the back of the machine.

Shut off the incoming water supply.

Remove the Old Filter

Gently pull the filter cover forward to remove it.
-
Push down on the top of the filter.
-
While pressing down, pull the top of the filter outward toward you.
-

Install the New Filter
-
Use a Genuine TAG Filter only.
-
Position the filter so that the arrow on the filter points forward.
-
Fit the filter into the groove below and push it in.
-
Ensure the arrow on the machine aligns with the arrow on the filter.
⚠ If the arrows do not match, the machine will not recognize the filter as genuine.

Power On and Test

Turn the master power switch back to the ON position.

In standby mode, press the Filtered Water button.

Allow water to flow for 2–3 minutes to check for any leaks.

If no leaks are found, close the filter cover.

Replace the Filter If:

You receive a "Replace filter" prompt from the machine.

The water tastes impure or off.
-
There is a strong odor, or the water flow is weak.

The machine has been unused for over 30 days:

Remove the filter and store it in the refrigerator.

Filters can be stored for up to 60 days and still remain effective.

The filter has been in use for over 1 year, even if no issues are detected.
Cleaning Cartridge Instructions
- Turn off the unit: Ensure the power is completely off.
- Remove the main filter: Detach the main Tag filter and place it in a container to catch any residual water and prevent leaks.
- Install the cleaning cartridge: Attach the cleaning cartridge in place of the main filter.
- Turn on the water: Set the water knob to the "On" position to allow water to flow through the unit. Let the water run until it starts coming out from the top of the machine.
- Turn off the water: Once water begins to flow from the top, shut off the water and let the unit sit overnight to allow for thorough cleaning.
- Reinstall the main filter: Replace the cleaning cartridge with the main filter.
- Flush the unit: Run filtered water through the machine for 3 minutes to clear any cleaning residue.
