2025 Echo Whole Home Water Softener

The Echo Whole Home Water Softener utilizes robust water treatment technologies that allow you to enjoy cleaner, softer, and better water

As the owner (“Owner,” you), your new Echo Whole Home Water Softener is covered by the industry leading 10-year warranty (“Warranty”).  If your Echo Whole Home Water Softener has a defect while covered under this Warranty, Echo Technologies LLC (“Echo,” we, us) will implement the remedies outlined in the warranty according to the terms of this warranty.

Echo Whole Home Water Softener is designed for use indoor, with potable water or drinking water found in most municipal water systems. The water entering the filter should be compliant with US EPA regulations for drinking water. The pressure for the water connected to the filter should fall within United States building codes for normal household water pressures, typically between 30 and 60 PSI.

This limited warranty provides you, as the original purchaser, specific legal rights. You may have additional rights, depending on the state in which you live and where you purchased the product.

Please contact Echo Technologies directly for all questions and issues related to this limited warranty. Do not contact the retail store, dealer, or reseller where you purchased this product. Any potential issues, questions, or requests directed to retail stores, dealers, resellers, or other parties are not covered by the limited warranty. They are not authorized to take any action under this limited warranty, and we are not responsible for any delays or related consequences due to the communications directed to any party other than Echo Technologies.

Warranty Coverage

This warranty is limited in scope and covers only the following defects:

  • Any factory defects to the internal or external components of the device.
  • Any material physical flaw in the device that manifests in the exterior enclosure. Including splits or cracks in the case. Delamination of glued surfaces. Broken or defective screens or displays. That impact the performance of the device and is not caused by improper use or handling of the equipment.

This limited warranty covers only the core equipment and does not cover any other accessories attached to the device including plumbing fixtures and fittings, tubing, filters, or other components and accessories.

This limited Warranty is personal to you as the original owner and cannot be transferred to any other person. You will be responsible for all costs associated with handling and transportation related to the original equipment and any replacement equipment.

Warranty Exceptions

Your water system is subject to normal wear and tear over the course of its service life. Wear and tear is not considered a defect and is not covered under this warranty.

This warranty must be presented at the time of claim, and all claims must be submitted within 30 days of the occurrence. The warranty is void if your water system is not installed in compliance with applicable plumbing codes, or if it is installed outside Echo Water’s installation guidelines. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Influent water temperatures exceeding 90°F

  • Static water pressure below 25 psi or above 75 psi

  • Intentional/malicious damage, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or accidental damage

This warranty does not cover damage caused by pressure surges, water hammer, power surges or sags, lightning, fire, flood, freezing, earthquakes, terrorism, war, or other natural or external events.

No Liability for Consequential Damages

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, Echo Water shall not be liable for any damages (including, without limitation: lost time, inconvenience, phone calls, labor or materials associated with removal or replacement, personal injury, business losses, or indirect or incidental damages) arising from the use or inability to use any defective part(s) or product(s), even if Echo Water was advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to the actual amount paid for the part(s) or product(s).

Periodic Replacement of Media

While designed to the highest standards, certain media within your Echo Water system will need periodic replacement by an authorized service agent. Replacement intervals depend on your specific water chemistry and usage patterns. Please consult your Echo Water specialist during your annual cleaning and disinfection service to ensure optimal water quality. Media replacement is not covered under this warranty.

Your Remedies

If the equipment is deemed defective by Echo Technologies during the time you, as the original owner, continue to own the equipment. we will be responsible, in our sole discretion, for either repairing the equipment or providing new or refurbished replacement product or the equivalent credit amount (Warranty Credit) to you equal to a prorated percentage of your original purchase price (less any taxes, handling, transportation, or other fees). Any credit amounts given must be applied exclusively to the purchase of a new product from us, according to the following schedule:

During the first 1 years or original ownership by you, the warranty Credit shall be 100% of the original purchase price (less any taxes, handling, transportation, or other fees).

During year 2 of original ownership by you, the warranty credit shall be 75% and decrease 10% for each additional year through year 10.

Repair Cost Schedule

At our discretion we may choose to repair the device rather than or prior to issuing a replacement or a credit. Repairs are billed at $125 per hour plus parts and shipping. These costs will be Prorated based on the warranty schedule below.

During the first 1 years or original ownership by you, the Warranty Credit shall be 100% of the original purchase price (less any taxes, handling, transportation, or other fees).

During year 2 of original ownership by you, the warranty credit shall be 75% and decrease 10% for each additional year through year 10.

Additional Conditions

For this limited warranty to be valid, you must:

  • Purchase the machine from an authorized dealer.
  • Be the original consumer or purchaser. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer possession of the equipment.
  • Provide proof of original purchase via copy of original store receipt reflecting proof of purchase date, place of purchase, and purchase price.
  • Provide proof of installation by a licensed Plumber

Please note:

  • Customer service and Technical Support will go through troubleshooting steps prior to sending out a full replacement unit.
  • Only one replacement is permitted per item. If a replacement has already been received under warranty, no further replacements will be provided.

ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ANY COSTS, FEES, DAMAGES, OR OTHER AMOUNTS, OTHER THAN AS SPECIFIED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE
