Echo One™ Warranty

The Echo One™ is a high-purity, under-counter hydrogen water system designed to deliver clean, hydrogen-enriched water every day. By combining advanced reverse osmosis filtration with on-demand hydrogen generation, the Echo One helps ensure the water being infused with hydrogen is purified first—supporting efficient hydrogen production while helping limit unwanted contaminants or byproducts.

As the original owner (“Owner,” you), your new Echo One™ is covered by the industry-leading 10-year warranty (“Warranty”).  If your Echo One™ has a defect while covered under this Warranty, Echo Technologies LLC (“Echo,” we, us) will implement the remedies outlined in the warranty according to the terms of this warranty.

Echo One™ is designed for indoor use, with portable water or drinking water found in most municipal water systems. The water entering the filter should comply with US EPA drinking water regulations. The pressure for the water connected to the filter should fall within United States building codes for normal household water pressures, typically between 30 and 60 PSI.

As the original purchaser, this limited warranty provides you with specific legal rights. Depending on the state in which you live and where you purchased the product, you may have additional rights.

Please contact Echo Technologies directly for all questions and issues related to this limited warranty. Do not contact the retail store, dealer, or reseller where you purchased this product. The limited warranty does not cover any potential issues, questions, or requests directed to retail stores, dealers, resellers, or other parties. They are not authorized to take any action under this limited warranty, and we are not responsible for any delays or related consequences due to communications sent to anyone other than Echo Technologies.


Warranty Coverage

This warranty is limited in scope and covers only the following defects:

  • This limited warranty is personal to you, the original owner, and cannot be transferred to any other person or entity. You will be responsible for all costs associated with handling and transportation related to the original equipment and/or any replacement equipment.
  • Any factory defects to the internal or external components of the device.
  • Any material physical flaw in the device manifesting in the exterior enclosure, including splits or cracks in the case, delamination of glued surfaces, and defective screens or displays that impact the device's performance and are not caused by improper use or handling of the equipment.
  • Echo Care is available at the time of purchase or within 30 days after buying your system from Echo Water or an Authorized Third-Party retailer. It provides one year of accidental damage protection, covering incidents that may fall outside this warranty. (Please see the warranty limitations & exclusions section of this warranty)

    If you're adding Echo Care after your original purchase, please note that we may require proof that your device is in perfect working condition at the time of plan activation. Coverage must be added prior to installation.

Warranty Claim Submission

To maintain eligibility for this limited warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be purchased from echowater.com or an authorized Echo Water dealer.

  • Original Ownership: Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser.

    • If the product was gifted, the recipient must have access to the original order information.

    • Warranty coverage ends if the product is resold or transferred to another person.

  • Proof of Purchase (for third-party sales): You must provide a copy of the original store receipt showing:

    • Date of purchase

    • Place of purchase

    • Purchase price

To file a valid warranty claim, we’ll need the following information:

  • Proof of troubleshooting completion
    This includes a short video that clearly shows:

    • The device serial number

    • The issue being reported, captured while the recommended troubleshooting steps were being performed
      (Please refer to the Troubleshooting Requirements section of this warranty for details.)
      If we’re unable to clearly see the reported issue, we may request additional documentation.

  • Current shipping address confirmation
    Required if a replacement is approved.

  • Return of the device (if requested)
    In some cases, Echo Water may require the device to be returned for inspection and/or to complete warranty coverage.
    Please do not dispose of the device or any of its components unless you are specifically instructed to do so by Echo Water. Disposing of the product without authorization may void warranty coverage.

This process helps us accurately diagnose issues, support our engineering team, and ensure warranty claims are handled fairly and efficiently.


Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

  • The Echo One warranty does not cover issues related to the Echo Water App or firmware. The Echo Water App may occasionally experience temporary disruptions during development and updates. However, this does not indicate a defect in the unit itself, as it will continue to filter and produce hydrogen as intended.
  • Warranty coverage will be void if the product has been intentionally or negligently damaged, misused, or improperly maintained.
  • To ensure full warranty coverage, your Echo Water product must be purchased from an authorized seller. Purchases made through non-authorized sellers cannot be verified by Echo Water and are not eligible for warranty service.

Exclusions include damage from:

  • Electrical issues are due to the non-use of a surge protector.
    ⚠ If a surge protector is not used, your warranty will be void.
  • Cracks, breaks, scratches, stains, or dents to the device's outer casing, lid, or display screen. Device repair for these incidents is not available. If your device arrives damaged, please report it to Echo Support upon receipt to obtain coverage under Echo Shipping Protection.
  • Exposure to harsh chemicals or the use of substances other than water or recommended cleaning agents as outlined in the Echo One™ User Manual.

  • Staining or discoloration.
  • Use or storage in unventilated, excessively hot, or humid environments.
  • Prolonged exposure to the sun.
  • Use or storage in freezing or extreme cold temperatures.

  • Water damage to electrical ports.

  • Contact with insects or animals.

  • Use with hard water.

  • Physical damage or soiling, including bodily fluids.

  • Theft or loss.

Maintenance-Related Exclusions

  • The warranty does not cover issues that may arise due to improper installation (either by you or a licensed plumber), unauthorized repairs, or alterations.
  • The warranty does not cover performance issues or deterioration caused by improper cleaning, filter replacement, or misuse. Issues such as mold, mildew, or changes in taste or smell are not considered product defects. These are usually caused by maintenance practices or the type of water used.
  •  The warranty does not cover performance issues or deterioration caused by a lack of regular maintenance.
  • This warranty does not cover filters or other parts that are designed to be replaced from time to time.

Your Remedies

If your Echo One is found to be defective during the warranty period and you are the original owner, Echo Technologies may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the Equipment

  • Provide replacement parts (if available).

  • Provide a new (within the first 90 days) or refurbished replacement (if the unit is non-repairable)

  • Issue a warranty credit toward the purchase of a new product

To be eligible, the equipment must be owned by the original purchaser. Any credit issued is limited to use toward purchasing a new Echo product and does not cover taxes, handling, shipping, or other fees.

Important: All replacement products will carry the original warranty date—not the date you receive the replacement unit. The warranty period does not restart or extend when a replacement product is issued. 

Store Credit Schedule (Prorated Refund):

  • Year 1: 100% of the original purchase price

  • Year 2: 100% of the original purchase price

  • Year 3: 75% of the original purchase price

  • Year 4: 65% of the original purchase price

  • Year 5: 55% of the original purchase price
  • Year 6: 45% of the original purchase price

  • Year 7: 35% of the original purchase price

  • Year 8: 25% of the original purchase price

  • Year 9: 25% of the original purchase price

  • Year 10: 25% of the original purchase price

Please note: Store credit must be used toward the purchase of a new product from Echo Technologies.

Repair Cost Schedule

  • Labor Rate: $125 per hour

  • Additional Costs: Parts and shipping (if applicable)

  • Repair Costs are prorated using the same schedule shown above

Additional Conditions

Troubleshooting Requirement

Before determining warranty eligibility:

  • Customer Service or Technical Support will guide you through troubleshooting steps. After troubleshooting is complete and supporting evidence is provided to the support team, Echo Water will decide on the best resolution, which may be offered in the form of:

    • Replacement part

    • Full or partial device replacement 

    • Store credit based on the original purchase price (excluding taxes, shipping, or any additional fees or protection coverages). Refunds to the original payment method are not available under warranty.

Many common issues can be resolved without replacement through simple adjustments, software or firmware updates, or minor fixes that do not require warranty coverage.

Replacements

  • One warranty replacement is allowed per purchased item lifetime. If the device has already been replaced under warranty, no additional full replacements may be available. If a replacement device is experiencing issues, please contact our support team for further guidance.

  • All replacement products will carry the original warranty date, not the date you receive the replacement unit. The warranty period does not restart or extend when a replacement product is issued. 

Testing Tool Disclaimer

  • After-market testing meters and blue reagent tests are not accepted as proof for warranty purposes, as they do not accurately measure hydrogen levels.

Discontinued Products

  • If your product is discontinued, we may not be able to offer an identical replacement. In such cases, we will provide a satisfactory alternative solution to fulfill your warranty obligations.



ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ANY COSTS, FEES, DAMAGES, OR OTHER AMOUNTS OTHER THAN AS SPECIFIED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.
