Echo Flask

The Echo Flask™ is a compact and efficient Hydrogen Water Enrichment Device. The Echo Flask™ is designed to be portable and rechargeable.   

As the original owner (“Owner,” you), your new Echo Flask™ is covered by the industry-leading 5-year warranty (“Warranty”).  If your Echo Flask™ has a defect while covered under this Warranty, Echo Technologies LLC (“Echo,” we, us) will implement the remedies outlined in the warranty according to the terms of this warranty.

Echo Flask™ is designed for indoor use with filtered or bottled drinking water. The water entering the Echo Flask™ should comply with US EPA drinking water regulations.

‼️ THIS DEVICE IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE SUBMERGED IN WATER AND IS NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. WATER DAMAGE WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

As the original purchaser, this limited warranty provides you with specific legal rights. Depending on the state in which you live and where you purchased the product, you may have additional rights.

Please contact Echo Technologies directly for all questions and issues related to this limited warranty. Do not contact the retail store, dealer, or reseller where you purchased this product. The limited warranty does not cover any potential issues, questions, or requests directed to retail stores, dealers, resellers, or other parties. They are not authorized to take any action under this limited warranty, and we are not responsible for any delays or related consequences due to communications sent to anyone other than Echo Technologies.


Warranty Coverage

This warranty is limited in scope and covers only the following defects:

  • This limited warranty is personal to you, the original owner, and cannot be transferred to any other person or entity. You will be responsible for all costs associated with handling and transportation related to the original equipment and/or any replacement equipment.
  • Any factory defects with the internal or external components of the device.
  • Any material physical flaw in the device manifesting in the exterior enclosure, including splits or cracks in the case, delamination of glued surfaces, and defective screens or displays that impact the device's performance and are not caused by improper use or handling of the equipment.
  • The Echo Care Protection Plan is available at the time of purchase through checkout or within 30 days after buying your Flask from Echo Water or an Authorized Third-Party retailer. It provides one year of accidental damage protection, covering incidents that may fall outside this warranty. If you're adding Echo Care after your original purchase, we will require proof that your device is in perfect working condition at the time of plan activation.

Warranty Claim Submission

To maintain eligibility for this limited warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be purchased from echowater.com or an authorized Echo Water dealer. Devices purchased from private marketplaces (such as eBay , social media, or unauthorized selling platforms) are not eligible for warranty coverage, as they are not sold through authorized channels.

  • Original Ownership: Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser.

    • If the product was gifted, the recipient must have access to the original order information.

    • Warranty coverage ends if the product is resold or transferred to another person by the original owner.

  • Proof of Purchase (for third-party sales): You must provide a copy of the original store receipt showing:

    • Date of purchase

    • Place of purchase

    • Purchase price

To file a valid warranty claim:

Before we can determine warranty eligibility, please complete any education and troubleshooting steps provided by our Customer Support Team.

All warranty submissions require:

  • The device's serial number
  • A short video clearly showing the reported concern, along with the device's serial number visible within the video, is required for all warranty submissions.  If we are not able to clearly see and access the reported issue, additional information or videos will be requested.
  • Completion of any requested troubleshooting steps
  • Current shipping address confirmation
  • Return of the device. Echo Water may require the device to be returned for inspection and/or to complete warranty coverage. Do not dispose of the device or any of its components unless you are specifically instructed to do so by Echo Water. Disposing of the product without authorization will void warranty coverage.

This process helps us accurately diagnose issues, support our engineering team, and ensure warranty claims are handled fairly and efficiently.

Once troubleshooting has been completed and reviewed, Echo Water will determine the most appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • A replacement part (when available)
  • A full or partial device replacement
  • Store credit based on the original purchase price (excluding taxes, shipping, protection plans, and additional fees)

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

Our warranty is designed to cover defects that impact the Echo Flask™'s primary function: generating hydrogen-rich water. Certain components and conditions fall outside standard warranty coverage due to normal wear, environmental factors, maintenance requirements, or because they do not affect hydrogen generation performance.

* Customers enrolled in an Echo Care Protection Plan may have additional coverage options available.
 

Non-Hydrogen Performance Components

Certain features are considered convenience, cosmetic, or informational components and do not impact the Flask's ability to generate hydrogen-rich water.

Examples include LED Lighting, notification sounds and/or speaker functions, or app-based customization features.

Because these components do not affect hydrogen production, they are not covered under the standard product warranty. These features may be affected by normal wear, moisture exposure, drops, impacts, or other environmental conditions while the Flask continues to function normally.

Battery Coverage

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery is considered a consumable component and is not covered under the product warranty.

Accessories

Accessories, including the lid, internal gasket/seal, charging cable, and charging block, are covered under warranty for the first 60 days following delivery when the issue is determined to be the result of a manufacturing or construction defect.

Coverage does not apply to issues resulting from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper maintenance, loss, or environmental exposure. 

After the 60-day warranty period, replacement accessories may be purchased through Echo Water. Applicable taxes and shipping charges may apply.


Echo Water App & Firmware

Because software functionality can be affected by operating system updates, device compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, and ongoing development, app- or firmware-related issues are not considered product defects and are not covered under warranty.

Importantly, temporary app or firmware issues do not generally impact the device's ability to generate hydrogen-rich water.


Pressure Or Release Valve Behavior

The pressure release valve naturally softens over time with normal use. As a result, customers may notice reduced pressure-release sound, variations in pressure-release volume, and/or the complete absence of an audible release sound. These changes are normal and do not impact hydrogen concentration, pressure generation, or overall performance. Variations in pressure release sound are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty.

Moisture Purging (Leaking)

Small amounts of moisture or water droplets released from the oxygen port are a normal byproduct of hydrogen generation and are not considered a defect.

Normal moisture purging may range from a few drops of water to moisture puddling approximately the size of the Flask base. Because oxygen must be vented during electrolysis, occasional moisture purging is expected and does not indicate a malfunction.

Conditions That Void Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage may be denied if damage is determined to be the result of misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or environmental exposure.

Exclusions 

The exclusions below are intended to help set clear expectations regarding what is and is not covered under the standard Echo Flask™ Warranty.

💡 Customers enrolled in an Echo Care Protection Plan may be eligible for additional coverage beyond the standard warranty terms.
 

Physical or Screen Damage

The warranty does not cover LCD screen cracks or damage, physical cracks, breaks, chips, scratches, dents or cosmetic damage.

External damage may also affect warranty eligibility if it is determined to have contributed to an internal failure.

If your Flask arrives damaged during shipping, please contact Echo Support immediately and provide the requirements outlined in the Echo Water Shipping Policy.


Chemical & Liquid Damage

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from the use of substances for hydrogen generation other than approved water sources, the use of unapproved cleaning products, exposure to harsh chemicals, or improper cleaning procedures

Only water and approved cleaning methods outlined in the  Echo Flask™ User Manual should be used.


Water Quality Issues

The warranty does not cover issues resulting from hard water use, excessive mineral buildup, or water quality-related staining or residue

Environmental Damage

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Excessive heat
  • Excessive humidity
  • Direct prolonged sunlight exposure
  • Refrigerator storage
  • Freezer storage
  • Extreme cold environments
  • Moisture intrusion into charging ports or display components

Animal, Insect & Biological Damage

The warranty does not cover damage caused by pets or animals, insects, bodily fluids, contamination or soiling


Theft or Loss

Lost, stolen, or unrecoverable products are not covered under warranty.


Maintenance & Service Exclusions

Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications

The Echo Flask™ should never be disassembled, modified, or repaired without authorization from Echo Water. Damage resulting from unauthorized repair attempts, modifications, or alterations is not covered under warranty.


Improper Maintenance

The warranty does not cover performance concerns resulting from inadequate cleaning or maintenance.

Examples include mold, mildew, mineral buildup, residue accumulation, biofilm formation, taste, or odor. These conditions are typically related to maintenance practices, water quality, or storage conditions rather than manufacturing defects. Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for long-term performance and are the responsibility of the owner.

Your Remedies

If your equipment is found to be defective during the warranty period and you are the original owner, Echo Technologies may, at its sole discretion:

  • Provide replacement parts (if available) 

  • Provide a full replacement if a part replacement is not available. If a full replacement is approved, coverage will be applied based on the prorated schedule. For years 2–5, this may result in a partial balance due for the replacement.

  • Or offer a prorated refund in the form of store credit based on the original purchase price (excluding taxes, shipping, or any additional fees or protection coverages). 

  • Device repairs are not available.

Store Credit Schedule (Prorated Refund):

  • Year 1: 100% coverage of the original purchase price

  • Year 2: 75% coverage of the original purchase price

  • Year 3: 50% coverage  of the original purchase price

  • Year 4: 25% coverage of the original purchase price

  • Year 5: 25% coverage of the original purchase price
  • After Year 5: 0%  coverage (warranty period ends)

Please note: Store credit must be used toward the purchase of a new product from Echo Technologies.

Replacements

  • One warranty replacement is allowed per purchased item lifetime. If the device has already been replaced under warranty, no additional full replacements may be available. If a replacement device is experiencing issues, please contact our support team for further guidance.

  • All replacement products will carry the original warranty date, not the date you receive a replacement unit. The warranty period does not restart or extend when a replacement product is issued. 

Additional Conditions

Troubleshooting Requirement

Before determining warranty eligibility:

  • Customer Service or Technical Support will guide you through education and/or troubleshooting steps. After troubleshooting is complete and supporting evidence is provided to the support team, Echo Water will decide on the best resolution, which may be offered in the form of:

    • Replacement part when available.

    • Full or partial device replacement.  If a full replacement is approved, coverage will be applied based on the prorated schedule. For years 2–5, this may result in a partial balance due for the replacement.

    • Store credit based on the original purchase price (excluding taxes, shipping, or any additional fees or protection coverages). Refunds to the original payment method are not available under warranty.

Many common issues can be resolved without replacement through simple adjustments, software or firmware updates, or minor fixes that do not require warranty coverage.

Testing Tool Disclaimer

  • After-market testing meters and blue reagent tests are not accepted as proof for warranty purposes, as they do not accurately measure hydrogen levels.

Discontinued Products

  • If your product is discontinued, we may not be able to offer an identical replacement. In such cases, we will provide a satisfactory alternative solution to fulfill your warranty obligations.


ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ANY COSTS, FEES, DAMAGES, OR OTHER AMOUNTS OTHER THAN AS SPECIFIED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.
