Bluetooth Option Not Available For App (iPhone)
Step 1: Turn On Bluetooth Access for Apps
- Pop into Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth.
- Here, you’ll see a list of apps that have asked to use Bluetooth.
- Make sure the switch next to your app is turned on.
👉 Don’t see the app listed? That could be due to some restrictions being turned on—no biggie, we’ll check that next!
Step 2: Check Content & Privacy Restrictions
- Head to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- If it's enabled, tap into it and go to Bluetooth Sharing.
- Ensure it's set to "Allow Changes"—this lets your apps do their Bluetooth thing.
Step 3: Quick Fixes That Might Help
- Restart your iPhone – seriously, it’s like a mini magic trick for tech hiccups.
- Update your iOS – ensure you have the latest version (Settings > General > Software Update).
If none of that does the trick, it might be time to contact the awesome folks at Apple Support for a deeper dive. Your phone may have a setting enabled or disabled that does not allow Bluetooth access.
Bluetooth Deactivation on Flask
Your Echo Flask™ only activates Bluetooth when it’s paired with the Echo app. If you’re not using the app, it stays inactive in the background.
For peace of mind, we tested it with an EMF meter and got a reading of zero. The Bluetooth is set to the lowest possible level—just enough to function without creating any noticeable EMF. So, even when active, the levels are extremely low and well below all safety standards.
