- Remove the charging cable once charging is complete.
2- Preparing the Lid and Bottle:
- Remove the lid from the main bottle. The seal will already be installed inside of your cap. The seals you have received are an extra set so you may have some on hand in case you need to replace your seal. Keep them somewhere safe.
- Lightly rinse the lid with warm filtered water. Be careful not to let water get inside the pressure release valve located in the center of the cap.
- Wash the bottle casing with warm filtered water and non-abrasive dish detergent before the first use.
3- Setting Up the Base/Generator:
- Remove the plastic plug (it may be tight) from the center base and dump out any water that may be present. Be careful not to throw away the plug as you will need it when you need to store your bottle or when traveling.
- Screw the clear bottle onto the generator, ensuring a secure connection. If the bottle does not align please see the "Bottler Alignment" section in this manual.
4- Descaling the Electrodes:
- Add white vinegar to the bottle. You only need to add enough to fill the generator (you do not need to fill the entire bottle)
- Soak the generator in a solution of white vinegar, lemon juice, or citric acid and water for at least 2 hours.
- Dump out the vinegar from the bottle and add filtered water. Screw the cap onto the bottle.
- Run (1) 5-10 minute cycle by pressing the power button. This will help rinse out any residual vinegar that may have remained in your generator.
- When the cycle is complete, remove the cap and dump out the water.
5- Final Rinse and Filling:
- Rinse out the fully assembled Echo Go+ with warm filtered water, avoiding water contact with the USB-C port.
- Fill the bottle with filtered water, including distilled or RO (reverse osmosis) water. You may use spring or well water as long as it is not chlorinated.
6- Generating Hydrogen-Rich Water:
- To activate the UV-C light, please make sure the device is turned off. Press and hold the button for 7 seconds until you hear a beep. The UV-C light is now activated and will turn on automatically during each cycle. UV Light Video Instructions
- Press the power button again on the front of the generator to begin making hydrogen-rich water. Press once for a 5-minute cycle and twice to run a 10-minute cycle.
- Once completed, drink within 2 hours for optimal benefits. You may drink directly from the bottle or you may pour inside of another copper-free container and add any supplement, minerals, or flavoring of your choice.
- Once you have emptied your bottle, ensure there is enough water left to keep the generator filled. To prevent mold or mildew, do not leave or store the bottle with a large amount of water if you are not going to drink it right away.
You may use cold, room temperature, or hot water in your bottle. Please keep in mind that hotter water can be harder on the membranes in your generator. You may also hydrogenate your water and then heat it on the stove or in the microwave. Some of the hydrogen will dissipate however it will still be above therapeutic levels.

UV-C Function
Activating and Deactivating UV-C Function:
The latest Echo Water bottles come with a nifty 254 nm (nanometer) UV-C light function to help keep your water clean and safe. When you first receive the device, this function will be turned off. Here’s how to get it up and running:.
- To activate the UV-C light, please make sure the device is turned off. Press and hold the button for 7 seconds until you hear a beep. The UV-C light is now activated and will stay on automatically during each cycle.
- When the device is turned on and the UV-C light is activated, you should see a single purple LED light along with 3 additional blue LED lights located on the top of the generator.) When in brighter lighting, the purple light may be very hard to see and will appear lighter in color along with the blue lights.
- To deactivate the UV-C light, make sure the device is turned off. Press and hold the button for 7 seconds until you hear a beep. With the UV-C light deactivated, only 4 blue LED lights will be visible when the device is turned on.
Should You Turn It Off? It's up to you! You can turn it off if you're confident about your water’s cleanliness or want to save battery. But keeping it on is a good idea for the best sterilization. Once you activate the UV-C light, it will remain on until you manually turn it off (no need to turn it on each time you use your bottle!).
* You can view the Echo Go+ Unboxing & Instructional video, which includes instructions on how to use the UV-C light starting at 7:22.

- Moderate Mineral Content: Regular/Deep Clean as often as desired. Descale twice a month.
- High Mineral Content (Hard Water): Regular/Deep Clean as often as desired. Descale weekly.
Improper or irregular cleaning & descaling or bottle use can lead to mold or mildew growth in your bottle which is not covered under the warranty. Please be sure you are following the cleaning/maintenance and water storage guidelines (found in the Initial Setup and Usage section.)
Regular cleaning and descaling ensure optimal performance. By following these steps, you maintain water quality and extend the life of your Echo Go+ bottle.
Dry Generator or Decreased Performance
Reviving the Generator in the Echo Go+ Bottle:
If your generator has dried out or if your bottle gets to a point where you feel like it isn't performing as well as it has (fewer or smaller bubbles than normal during the hydrogenization process etc.) this may mean that your generator needs a little "shock".
Shocking the Generator:
- Place 1 cup of the filtered water in a ceramic or glass microwave-safe container and microwave for approximately 2 minutes.
- Using a hot pad to handle the heater container, carefully pour the heated water (it will be HOT) into your device and fill to the fill line.
- Run a 10-minute cycle with the heated water.
- Once complete, discard the heated water and replace it with fresh filtered water.
- Run another 5-10 minute hydrogenation cycle. You should notice an increase in fine bubbles and overall performance refresh.
Please keep in mind because the hotter water can be a little harder on the membranes in your bottle it is not something you will want to do as regular maintenance.
