Meet The Echo Forty™

The ECHO Forty™ is a high-capacity hydrogen water tumbler designed to bring powerful hydrogen generation into a portable, everyday format.

With an industry-leading 40 oz capacity and the ability to generate 4–6 ppm of molecular hydrogen, the ECHO Forty allows you to produce hydrogen-rich water on demand without needing multiple refills throughout the day. Built with premium materials and advanced electrolysis technology, it combines performance, durability, and convenience in one integrated system.

The ECHO Forty is designed for daily hydration at home, work, travel, fitness, and wellness environments. Its smart touchscreen interface and app connectivity allow you to track your hydrogen intake, monitor water consumption, and create hydration goals to support consistent use.

Echo Forty™ Initial Setup

💧The Forty contains a small amount of distilled water to keep the membrane primed. (This water is NOT for consumption.) Your Flask is clean and ready to use.

When first using the Forty, it may take up to one week of regular, consistent use for your flask to build full pressure and produce consistent hydrogen bubbles.

Operating the Echo Forty™

How to use your Forty™

  1. Fill the Forty to the top of its shoulder with water. We recommend purified or distilled water for the best performance

🔗 Why do you recommend filtered water?

  2. Secure the cap by simply twisting it on.
  3. Swipe up on the Forty screen and press the play button to activate the hydrogen infusion cycle
  4. When the cycle ends, lifting the drink spout will depressurize the forty.
    • Your Echo Forty™ is designed to automatically manage internal pressure during and after each hydrogen cycle. Because of this, you may hear different sounds when lifting the spout — or none at all.

    • Sound variation does NOT affect hydrogen concentration (PPM).

💧Small drips from the oxygen port are normal and typically resolve after several uses. This is not considered a leak—it’s an occasional and expected result of oxygen being expelled through the port (even beyond the first use).

Echo Forty™ Charging Guide

Your Forty uses a lithium-ion battery paired with battery management software. When the battery is new, the system’s percentage readings may not yet be perfectly calibrated. This is known as a battery calibration period.

During this time, you may notice inconsistent cycle counts, such as:

  • 5–7 cycles on one charge

  • 2–3 cycles on another

This variation is normal in the beginning. After several full charge-and-discharge cycles:

  • Voltage curves stabilize

  • Capacity readings become more accurate

  • Cycle estimates become more consistent

Lithium batteries naturally stabilize with regular use, and the software improves its ability to estimate remaining capacity.

👉 This calibration process typically takes a few weeks.

When to Charge

For optimal battery health, it’s best to let the battery fully discharge before recharging — allow the Forty™ to run until it can no longer complete a full cycle.

How to Charge

  1. Locate the Charging Port

    • The port is located under the display screen on the Handle.

  2. Connect the Charger

    • Plug the USB-C cable into the generator’s port.

    • Connect the other end to a 5 V, 2 A charger block (any compatible USB-C or USB-A adapter works).

  3. Charge Fully

    • Allow up to 2.5 hours for a complete charge.

    • Your battery indicator may show green with full bars after a few minutes, but the battery still needs the full charge time to reach optimal capacity.

  4. Monitor Charging

    • Avoid overcharging or leaving the Forty™ plugged in continuously, as this can reduce long-term battery life.

  5. Unplug After Charging

    • Once fully charged, unplug the Forty™ to prevent potential battery damage, overheating, cord damage, or fire risk.
