How to Use your Echo Flask Video

1. Removing the Lid

The lid on your new product may feel a bit snug initially, but this is normal and will ease over time as it breaks in.

  • To remove the lid, gently push down and twist it counter-clockwise to unlock.
  • As a precaution, avoid placing your fingers under the lid while twisting, as the bottom edge may feel pointed. Instead, grip the sides of the lid securely while twisting.

The lid will become more comfortable to handle, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience!

Here's a quick demonstration on how to remove the lid (Time 2:32), take out the gasket/seal (Time 0:39), properly reinsert it (Time 1:04), and then how to put the lid back on (Time 2:18).

2. Fill the Flask

  • For optimal performance, use filtered, distilled, or reverse osmosis water. Avoid tap water, as its high mineral content can lead to buildup and reduced performance.
  • Fill to the top of the bottle shoulder (no liquid should be visible in the spout).

3. Seal the Lid

  • Apply downward pressure while twisting the lid to close to the right.
  • Ensure the logo is parallel or perpendicular to the flask for a proper seal.
Note: If the lid isn’t aligned correctly, pressure will not build during the cycle and will not release properly.
  • Expect slight twisting resistance during the final portion of the quarter turn to confirm the lid is securely sealed.

4. Activate Hydrogen Generation

  • Wake the Touch Screen: Tap the screen to activate the display.
  • Unlock the Interface: Swipe up on the screen.
  • Start Hydrogenation: Press the play button to initiate a 10-minute cycle (default setting).
  • If desired, tap the timer to shorten the cycle duration. It will decrease by 1 minute with each tap.
  • Auto-Lock Feature: If no adjustments are made, the screen locks automatically after 3 seconds. Swipe up to unlock.

5. Cycle Completion

  • At the end of the cycle, the flask will display a “Ready” message.
  • Note: If you would like alerts on your device, you can adjust the sound settings in the Echo Water app.

6. Stopping a Cycle Early

  • Press and hold the stop button for 3 seconds to terminate the cycle prematurely.
Note: Cycles stopped before 2 minutes will not count toward drinking goals in the Echo Water app.
  • To reduce cycle time, tap the time display, and it will decrease it by a minute.

7. Release Pressure Before Drinking

  • Press the small indent on the lid to release pressure.
  • Twist the lid open to access your hydrogenated water. Enjoy!
